    Hi Rudy,
I’m really proud of you and your supurb talent. I remember when I first met you at Liberty Hill AME Zion Church is Gastonia, NC. I knew then that you would be just where you are. I’m your cousin. My father James Barnes of Rock Hill whom we just buried on Dec. 1st is first cousin to your father I believe. Is Ruppard your dad? By the way Darryl Jackson our cousin join in the clergy at dad’s homegoing celebration. But anyhow, just want to reintroduce myself and let you know how proud I am of you as family. Now I’d love very much for you to meet my son again, his name is Ben Williams, bassist in NYC. He just received his masters in jazz studies at Juilliard in NY. He won the Thelonious Monk Institute Music Award in 2009 and the International Bassplayers Award in 2005 and numerous other awards. He is traveling all over the world performing and just completed his first CD project where he is signed up with major label company Concord. Would love you to come to the Kennedy Center where he will be performing on April 15th where you can hear some of his works (originals that will be on his CD) I’d love to see you two hook up and do a project. There are numbers of other highly talented family members. I have another son, his name is Todd Williams, he is studying digital media, music productions, etc. So you can check them out on fb, myspace, twitter, etc. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
